Travel Tips: Surviving A Road Trip

The #1 Item You Must Have on Your Packing List!

I love to travel but I hate when I get into a rhythm, hiking, snapping photos, staring at some memorizing site and then think, “Hmmm, did I eat today”?

The only thing about being at the top of a mountain, enjoying the beauty from every angle, is that there’s no convenience store. Writing lists to keep my life in some sort of order is my thing. One of the lists I create when I travel is an itinerary. I may not always follow my schedule of activities but itineraries help me to come up with my packing list. I MUST have a packing list, and inevitably “snacks” are item #1.

Our most recent travels took us to Iceland. Not only did we relax in the natural hot springs, but we had the bright idea to drive around the ENTIRE country. During hours driving along the Ring Road I am thankful I had KIND bars to snack on. They nearly saved my life because I am not a happy person when I do not have a meal in my life.

I enjoy the variety of flavors KIND offers, and that they also have snack bars for any occasion. Breakfast bars to help break the fast, snack bars to avoid munching mindlessly on something unhealthy, and protein bars for that extra boost of energy. As I prepare for my next road trip (even if it’s just a trip to the airport), a gift arrived in the mail.

KIND has been kind enough (see what I did there) to send me the Road Warrior Gift box! This gift box is full of new and exciting goodies. Check out what’s inside.

The Road Warrior Giftbox boasts TWENTY bars! Some of the flavors are mango apple chia, almond and coconut, pineapple banana kale spinach, apple butter protein, and my favorite caramel almond sea salt. There’s something about that touch of sea salt that does it for me.

I personally like the simple ingredients in KIND bars. They pretty much cover you from A to Z. Until I received my Road Warrior Gift box I didn’t know they offered fruit bars!! The bar I had for breakfast contained 1/2 a banana, 2 whole pineapple slices, 3/4 of an apple, kale, and spinach. Pretty much a whole green juice in a bar.

Check out the KIND One-Stop Gift Shop and get all of your holiday shopping done with one click of a button. Looking for stocking stuffers, road trip snacks, protein bars to get you through the day? Try the One-Stop Gift Shop to satisfy every snacker on your on your list.

Looks like we are back to road tripping with this new variant’s appearance. We prefer international travel but most likely the borders and airports wil again limit those aspirations. So, I must tell you finding you article was timely for us. We can still travel but most likely hitting the road in America.

    Thank you and be well!
